This Month's Plumb Line -Growing People Change
We are followers of Christ who seek to know Him, connect with His church, grow in Him and go into the world with Him. The church helps through public worship, small groups and opportunities to serve.
We would like to thank our Church Family for all their help with the Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt last night. Thank you for helping with all the aspects of our egg hunt from purchasing candy, stuffing eggs so they would glow, preparing and serving dinner, volunteering at the activity stations, and the many other aspects reaching our community.
Passion Week will begin tomorrow! Lunch will be served at 11:30 am followed by an Easter Message from the book of Matthew. This year our schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday - Oak Grove Baptist Church
Tuesday - Dutchtown Baptist Church
Wednesday - New River Baptist Church
Thursday - Fellowship Church
Friday - Ascension Baptist Church
Remember, we will be hosting Passion Week on Tuesday and will need help setting up and serving. If you would like to bring a dessert, contact Shelby or tea, contact Adria. Also, if you would like to help serve/set up, be at the church Tuesday morning at 9:00 am.
If you have a high school senior who will be graduating this year, please contact the church office as they prepare to recognize our seniors in May. We don’t want to leave anybody out. We ask that each senior provide about 15 pictures for our senior montage by April 19. They can be e-mailed to office@dutchtownbaptist.org.
Invite a friend and join in with the Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, April 4, at 8 am. It will be a great way to start your Saturday with the Men’s Fellowship.
Mark your calendar for the 2026 VBS Training on Sunday, April 12, at 4 pm. We will begin our adventure to Rainforest Falls. See Becky Rogers for details or if you are interested in volunteering.
You can submit prayer requests on the DBC app or emailing the church at office@dutchtownbaptist.org. Urgent prayer requests can be channeled through the pastor or our leadership team.
Announcements should be e-mailed before Wednesday morning to office@dutchtownbaptist.org to be included in the bulletin.
Join us on Wednesday Nights at 6:30. Bible Study groups are being offered for all ages. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
We invite you to join our Sunday Morning Small Groups. If you are not already a member of a small group this is a great way to connect with other members of our church family. We have groups for all ages and each group begins at 9 am on Sunday Mornings.
We have recently installed TAP discs on a chairback near you. These discs help us stay better connected as we minister together. Please scan the disc with your phone and tap the “Next Step” card at the top of the screen. Complete and submit the information on the card to ensure we have your current contact information. The TAP disc also gives you the option to give electronically.
We invite you to join our Serve Teams. Available team opportunities include Guest Services, Connect, Compassion and Cooking. Each team has a specific purpose to focus on as we serve each other here at DBC and throughout our community by simply signing up on the app.
