This Month's Plumb Line -Growing People Change
We are followers of Christ who seek to know Him, connect with His church, grow in Him and go into the world with Him. The church helps through public worship, small groups and opportunities to serve.
There will be a Deacon meeting August 3 and a Small Group Leader meeting August 10. Both of these begin at 6:30 pm.
DBC Students are hosting a Back to School Bash at White Sands Lake Day Beach in Franklinton, LA, on Saturday, Aug. 8, beginning at 11:00 am. All families are welcome to join us! Tickets are $15 per person; please sign up and pay on the church app or website under events.
Our Senior Adult Devotion and Lunch will be Thursday, August 20, at 10:30 am.
We will be feeding the BCM students at LSU on Thursday, August 27. Watch for more details about serving times.
The Abide Women’s Conference will be February 19-20, 2027, at the seminary in New Orleans. Registration will open September 1st. (Tickets usually sell out quickly; if planning to attend, you will want to purchase tickets as soon as registration opens.) Every year a group of ladies attends this conference and enjoys a great time of worship, learning, and fellowship. If you are interested, please contact Stephanie, by Sunday, August 23, to add your name to the list and receive more information before tickets go on sale.
We invite you to join our Sunday Morning Small Groups. If you are not already a member of a small group this is a great way to connect with other members of our church family. We have groups for all ages and each group begins at 9 am on Sunday Mornings.
