This Month's Plumb Line -Growing People Change
We are followers of Christ who seek to know Him, connect with His church, grow in Him and go into the world with Him. The church helps through public worship, small groups and opportunities to serve.
Several of our members are at Builders For Christ this week. Please pray for safety for all the volunteers as they work this week in various roles and for travelling grace as they return home at the end of the week.
Invite a friend and be a part of the Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, June 6, at 8 am. Not only will you enjoy a delicious breakfast but it will be a great time of fellowship.
Departure for Youth Camp in Mobile, Alabama, will be on Monday, June 8. Be in prayer for them as they are inspired to serve in the community, learn to live life each day on mission by serving others and sharing the gospel.
Vacation Bible School will be from June 15—18 at 6:30 pm for children between the ages of 3 years old through completed 5th grade. Registration is open. You can register through the DBC app or our website at dutchtownbaptist.org . We encourage you, your family, and friends to register early as registration is limited.
Rainforest Falls is just around the corner and it’s time for the decorating to begin! The church will be open on Saturday, June 6, from 9 until noon for Station Leaders to come and begin decorating their classrooms. Creating our dense, lush forest will continue on Saturday, June 13, from 9 until 2. Anyone wanting to help with this final phase is invited to join us. See Becky Rogers if you have any questions.
Each week Dutchtown Kids have so much fun in the nursery and Kids Worship. If you aren’t volunteering and would like to join the excitement each week, let the Dutchtown Kids Team know, and Adria will add you to the rotation.
You can submit prayer requests on the DBC app or emailing the church at office@dutchtownbaptist.org. Urgent prayer requests can be channeled through the pastor or our leadership team.
We invite you to join our Sunday Morning Small Groups. If you are not already a member of a small group this is a great way to connect with other members of our church family. We have groups for all ages and each group begins at 9 am on Sunday Mornings.
Bulletin Announcements should be e-mailed before Wednesday morning to office@dutchtownbaptist.org.
TAP discs are located on a chairback near you. These discs help us stay better connected as we minister together. Please scan the disc with your phone and tap the “Next Step” card at the top of the screen. Complete and submit the information on the card to ensure we have your current contact information. The TAP disc also gives you the option to give electronically.
We invite you to join our Serve Teams. Available team opportunities include Guest Services, Connect, Compassion and Cooking. Each team has a specific purpose to focus on as we serve each other here at DBC and throughout our community by simply signing up on the app.
