This Week’s Prayer Focus – New School Year
We are followers of Christ who seek to know Him, connect with His church, grow in Him and go into the world with Him. The church helps through public worship, small groups and opportunities to serve.
We will be providing a hamburger lunch to the Dutchtown High School Football team on Wednesday, July 31. The lunches will be boxed here at church beginning at 10:00 am and delivered to the high school. If you are available to help, please contact Pastor Leigh, Adria or Jo Ann.
Our Men’s Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at 8 am. Come, bring a friend and join us for a time of fellowship.
Mark your calendar! DBC Students will be going to White Sands Beach on August 3 for an end of the summer celebration and they are inviting their church family to join them. See Mike Townsend for tickets and details.
School will begin for students on Thursday, August 8. Please be in prayer for our students, teachers and school personnel as they kick off a new year. As the school year kicks off we will be providing lunch to teachers at local middle schools. Watch for details on how you can help.
We are taking a break from our Wednesday Evening Activities during the month of July. Activities will resume for all ages after school begins in August.
You can submit prayer requests by submitting them on the app, emailing the church at office@dutchtownbaptist.org or calling the church office. Urgent prayer requests can be channeled through the pastor or our leadership team.
You can give through text to give, by texting DutchtownChurch to 1-888-364-GIVE (4483). You will receive a reply with a new link for your giving. The code is not case sensitive.
Announcements should be e-mailed before Wednesday morning to office@dutchtownbaptist.org to be included in the bulletin.
We still have several openings where you have an opportunity to serve on one of our Serve Teams. See Pastor Leigh for details.
We have small groups meeting on Sunday Mornings at 9 am for all ages. Please spread the word, and join us as each group unites in prayer, studies God’s word, and supports each other through life’s situations.
