This Week’s Prayer Focus – Fall Food Round-up
This Week’s Prayer Focus – Fall Food Round-up
We are followers of Christ who seek to know Him, connect with His church, grow in Him and go into the world with Him. The church helps through public worship, small groups and opportunities to serve.
The Abide Women’s Conference is scheduled for February 23—24, 2024 at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. This year’s theme is “Women of Prayer” and will include Bible teaching and worship, practical breakout sessions, as well as sweet times of fellowship, it is our hope that your walk with God would grow deeper as you learn the power and practices of prayer. Early Bird registration is available until October 1; go to Prepareher.com/abide to register. Please see Stephanie, if you have any questions.
We will be serving lunch to students at the LSU BCM on Tuesday, October 3. We will need help preparing and serving. If you are available to help serve, please be at the church at 10:30 on Tuesday morning. To assist with preparation, please contact the church office or Jo Ann.

The Fall Food Round Up for the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home has kicked off. A list of suggested items is available. Each cottage provides a place where children can feel the loving embrace of God. Please place items in the foyer between now and October 8. Remember meals are prepared in each cottage, not cafeteria style. Please do not bring gallon size canned goods, items with broken seals or past expiration. Thank you for your generosity!
