This Month's Plumb Line -Growing People Change
We are followers of Christ who seek to know Him, connect with His church, grow in Him and go into the world with Him. The church helps through public worship, small groups and opportunities to serve.
We will be providing lunch to the BCM students at LSU on Thursday, August 27. We will meet at the church at 10:30 am and begin preparing to leave for campus.
The Abide Women’s Conference will be February 19-20, 2027, at the seminary in New Orleans. Registration will open September 1st. (Tickets usually sell out quickly; if planning to attend, you will want to purchase tickets as soon as registration opens.) Every year a group of ladies attends this conference and enjoys a great time of worship, learning, and fellowship. If you are interested, please contact Stephanie, today, to add your name to the list and receive more information before tickets go on sale.
Our Men’s Breakfast will be on Saturday, September 5, beginning at 8:00 am. Bring a friend and begin your Saturday morning with a time of fellowship.
Join us for a musical Christmas journey to celebrate the Savior! “A Night at the Manger” rehearsals for children and youth will begin on Sunday, September 6, at 5:00 pm. All ages are welcome to participate. There will be an adult song featured in the program that will include minimal rehearsal. Contact Hannah for more information.
You can submit prayer requests on the DBC app or emailing the church at office@dutchtownbaptist.org. Urgent prayer requests can be channeled through the pastor or our leadership team.
We invite you to join our Sunday Morning Small Groups. If you are not already a member of a small group this is a great way to connect with other members of our church family. We have groups for all ages and each group begins at 9 am on Sunday Mornings.
TAP discs are located on a chairback near you. These discs help us stay better connected as we minister together. Please scan the disc with your phone and tap the “Next Step” card at the top of the screen. Complete and submit the information on the card to ensure we have your current contact information. The TAP disc also gives you the option to give electronically.
